On behalf of the St Bride’s White Rose Partnership, St Bride’s Managers are pleased to confirm that Popeyes Louisiana Chicken have recently begun trading out of Church Street, York, following a comprehensive redevelopment project.
The extensive works comprised converting two high street retail units into a single restaurant unit. In addition, the external elements of the whole property, including the upper parts, were also refurbished, giving the building a much-needed face-lift.
Popeyes have signed a new 15-year lease, and following their own fit-out works, opened to the public in early-October 2026.
We are delighted to have been able to identify and secure the long-term future of the property and wish Popeyes every success with their new restaurant.
