St Bride’s Managers acquired the freehold of City Residence, a 124-bedroom student accommodation in York on behalf of the White Rose Limited Partnership. The property is let in its entirety to York St John University on a long lease and is conveniently situated, being a short walk from both York city centre and the university campus.
At the time of acquisition, York St John University had only 3 years term certain on their lease. St Bride’s agreed a regear with the tenant, with the University signing a new 20-year lease and committing to refurbish the property.
